There are numerous quests that can be given to the player. These are given by the townspeople as well as people found around Ditto.

Collect items: These quests task you with collect a random amount of a random non-usable item. These items will begin dropping from enemies once the quest begins and ceases to drop once it is completed.
Defeat enemies: These quests task you with defeating a random amount of any enemy.
Defeat specific enemies: These quests task you with defeating a random amount of a specific type of enemy, such as Zombies.
Retrieve/Deliver: These quests task you with retrieving an random non-usable item from another person in Ditto and returning it to its owner or to deliver an item to a person in Ditto.
Use the Key: These quests are given to you by people found around Ditto. Up to two of these quests may be given in a given playthrough. The person will give you a Key to a Dungeon that contains a Toy of Legend. These dungeons can be found around Ditto and may be marked on the map by selecting the side quest in the quest menu.
